Setting up your organisation

Getting access

Request access from the sign-up page. Tell us about your business or practice and we will be in touch to set you up. If you have been invited to an existing organisation, open the invitation link from your email instead.

The guided setup wizard

The first time you sign in, Kumry walks you through setup one step at a time.

1. Choose your plan and enter your business details, including your ABN.
2. Tell Kumry where your books are today: another accounting system, spreadsheets, or starting fresh.
3. Set your financial year and chart of accounts, and bring your history across if you are switching.
4. Choose your GST and BAS settings.
5. Optionally invite your team and your accountant.

Checking your organisation details

Your organisation settings hold your legal name, ABN, address, financial year, timezone and tax registrations. Check them against your ABN record and your tax registrations before you start entering transactions, because they flow into invoices, reports and BAS.
