Customer portal privacy notice
Last updated: 15 October 2026
This notice is for people who use a business's customer portal on Kumry, because that business sent them an invitation. Kumry is accounting software provided by PMOAid Pty Ltd (ABN 88 654 942 757) trading as Kumry ("Kumry"). Our full privacy policy also applies.
In short
- The business that invited you controls your information in its records. Kumry runs the portal for it.
- The portal shows you the invoices and statements that business shares with you.
- We collect only what is needed to sign you in securely.
- For questions, contact the business first. You can also contact us.
Who controls your information
The business that invited you decides what is in its records about you and what it shares with you in the portal. Kumry stores and processes that information for the business, under our agreement with it. The business can withdraw your portal access at any time, and the access stops working if the business changes the email address it holds for you.
What the portal collects
| What | Details |
|---|---|
| Your name and email address | As recorded by the business that invited you. The business uses them to send you a portal invitation and sign-in links. |
| Sign-in links | Each link works once and expires (an invitation after 7 days, a sign-in link after 30 minutes). We keep only a scrambled copy of the link, and a record of when it was used. |
| Sign-in requests | When you ask for a sign-in link, we record a scrambled copy of your email address and the network (IP) address the request came from, to stop repeated or automated requests. |
| Your portal session | A strictly necessary cookie keeps you signed in for up to 12 hours. It cannot be read by scripts on the page. See our Cookie Policy. |
| Invoices and statements | The invoices and statements the business shares with you. These are the business’s records about its dealings with you. |
How it is used
We use this information only to run the portal for the business: to send your sign-in links, sign you in, show you what the business has shared, and keep the portal secure. We do not use it for marketing, and we do not sell it. Your information is stored on infrastructure we operate in Australia. Emails are sent through our email delivery provider, listed on our sub-processors page.
Questions, access and complaints
Please contact the business that invited you first, because it controls its records about you and can correct them. If you cannot resolve it with the business, or your question is about how Kumry runs the portal, email support@kumry.com (attention: Privacy Officer). We will acknowledge your message within 5 business days and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at www.oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
