For accountants and auditors
Read the certificate. Then get on with the review.
When a client moves to Kumry, they receive a signed certificate recording what moved across and what was flagged. Here is how to use it in your review.
- 1
Open the certificate
Each Kumry certificate names the organisation, the period or migration it covers, its identifier and the signing key used. Start from the certificate you were given or open it from the client file.
- 2
Read what it records
A migration certificate records what moved across from Xero, how the imported trial balance compared with the source, and what was flagged for review.
- 3
Work through the flagged items
Anything flagged during the migration is listed so you can resolve it with your client before relying on the opening balances.
- 4
Apply your professional judgement
The certificate tells you what was moved and checked. Recognition, classification, tax treatment and presentation remain your call as the accountant.
