Delete your Kumry account

• You’ll need your password and, if two-factor sign-in is set up, a code from your authenticator app. If you don’t have your authenticator app, you can use one of your recovery codes instead.
• If you are the only owner of an organisation that has other members, make someone else an owner first. Kumry tells you which organisations need a new owner.
• Deleting your account deletes your own login and personal details. It does not delete a business’s books.

1. Sign in at kumry.com.
2. Open the menu with your name at the top of the page and choose My profile.
3. Scroll down to Delete my account and select Delete my account…
4. Read what will happen, then tick I understand. Delete my account in 7 days.
5. Enter your password and, if asked, the code from your authenticator app (or a recovery code), then select Delete my account.

1. Open the Kumry app and sign in.
2. Go to Settings and tap Delete my account.
3. Enter your password and, if asked, the code from your authenticator app (or a recovery code), then confirm.

As soon as you ask, we sign you out on every device, stop sending notifications to your phone or computer, and you can’t sign in. We email you a link to cancel.

Your account is deleted 7 days after you asked. Until then, open the link in that email to keep your account. It takes you to a page where you confirm the cancellation.

If you cancel, sign in again on each device. The Kumry app sends you notifications again once you sign in to it.

After the 7 days:

• Your sign-in details, registered devices and two-factor methods are destroyed.
• Your contact details are destroyed, and your name and email address are removed.
• Your notification settings and the content of your personal notifications are removed.

• Business records you created or worked on, such as invoices, transactions and payroll records, stay with the business, because they belong to it. An anonymous user ID stays on them, and where you appear in the business’s history it says “Former member”.
• Your sign-in history (time, IP address, device and result) is kept for 12 months after your account is deleted. During those 12 months it is used only for security and fraud checks, and then it is deleted automatically.
• Copies in our backups are removed as those backups expire, after 35 days.

Email support@kumry.com (attention: Privacy Officer) from the email address you use for Kumry, and ask us to delete your account. We will check your identity before we act on your request.
